Tom and I checked out the iPhone during our Thursday outing. With the two hundred dollar price drop, it's makes for a more tempting purchase. We've both read most of the pros and cons about the phone. We just wanted to get our hands on one, so we could see for ourselves.
After trying out the various functions, I thought that the 4 mg phone, at $299, might be a good buy. That is, if it had a better camera and could work off of the 3G wireless service - which it can't. Tom said he would probably opt for the 8 mg version, but the phone needs to be compatible with hes new 64 bit Vista Ultimate computer - and it isn't. As a result, no iPhone purchases were made. Guess we'll wait for the second generation iPhone to arrive and then see what improvements Apple makes to the product.
