California State Fair - Painting

The art work at the California State Fair is usually very good. This year was no exception. The fair organizers devote an entire hall to paintings and sculptures. I like to capture, using my Nikon digital camera, an eight mega pixel shot (tiff ) of a painting (no flash) and afterwards tweak it in Adobe Photoshop Elements. If that turns out with good detail and accurate color, I print a thirteen by nineteen print using my Canon i9900 printer. I then either frame it, or put it in an album designed to hold thirteen by nineteen prints. The picture I have posted on the blog today has been printed and it will soon go in a white frame, right after I receive my latest order of frames from an online source. I plan to hang it in the exercise room - near another large print that I took while visiting Lake Tahoe earlier this year.
