I always like to check the various county exhibits at the fair. Some counties, and they are not always the largest, set up very elaborate and intriguing displays for the state fair. Surprisingly, oftentimes the larger counties may not put as much effort into their displays. This is frequently the case regarding the counties in southern California, where they somehow can't relate to what is happening in the northern region of the state. More than a few people, including those in state government, believe that the state should be split into two states, so you would probably end up having the capitol of Southern California in Los Angeles, or San Diego.
The county exhibit that really got my attention this year is Sutter County. I posted a picture of their display a few days ago and today I've added a video link. You can view the video at the site below:
