Grandma's House
The painting shown at the top of my blog page was painted by my uncle, Harold, at a very early point in his career as an artist. I watched him paint the house picture during one of my weekend visits to my grandmother's home in Westfield, Illinois. Uncle Harold eventually became a noted landscape artist. He painted many pictures of scenes near Westfield and Casey, Illinois. Some of his paintings hang in a gallery in Casey, Illinois. When I look at the picture he painted of my grandmother's house, I can't help but think of all the good times I had as a child while visiting her in Westfield. For me, it is a valuable memento of my youth.

Quick Pic
The latest picture of Chili, showing her taking a nap, was taken with my iPhone4. I then saved it to my computer and enhanced it using Photoshop. Next, I went to my blog page and posted it to the site. Total time from capture to posting - five minutes. Cool technology!
